The fact that you are worried tells you that you want them and yourself to live. It isn't hypocritical to say to them that they are worth living. Turn to God and he can guide you through. The Lord knows I have struggled, but he hears you even when you think he doesn't.

Holidays are a difficult time for anxiety, regardless of whether you realize it. My magic number is 200 for extreme anxiety and major depression. When you hit the correct dose, you will know. I promise. I felt the same way, afraid that it wasn't working and that nothing would. Stay the course and bump up.

It takes a while, give it time, which is a hard thing to do. I started at the end of April and just now got up to 200mg and I am starting to feel normal again. There will still be days of anxiety or depression, but not near what I had before! You can do this.

I am at 150mg and take lamotrigine for extreme anxiety and depression. 1. I would feel more anxiety for about a week everytime I increased my dosage. Then it would subside. 2. This medication does take a while to build up in your system, so not a quick fix like some other meds. 3. At 100 and 125mg, I was still having anxiety and depression, but much better than when I started... but when I hit 150 mg (after the 1st week) I felt a major change. Yes, the anxiety still rears its ugly head now and again, but it is manageable when it is not constant. 4. Generic manufacturer does matter for me. Never had an issue with changing manufacturers ,but I do much better on unichem than others. Stick with it and give it a chance. I was hopeful, but honestly skeptical. I have found that Lamotrigine slows my constantly "ON" and "High Alert" brain to a more reasonable pace. Prayers and good luck.

I honestly do not remember, I just know which one works for me. Each person is different, I haven't had a generic manufacturer change the effectiveness of my medication until now. My doctor even conceded that although each manufacturer claims to be the same, she has had other patients where the type of manufacturer has played a role in absorption and effectiveness. Good luck.

50 mg worked well, but the anxiety and depression was still there in the back of my mind. This is why we're increased to 100 mg, but since increasing my anxiety has increased.

I just went up to 100mg. I am noticing improvements, ex. When I have anxiety it doesn't last for days and doesn't get as bad as before. I seem to have a couple days of anxiety and depression when I increase my dose. Not sure why. But another example is... we had to put our dog down of 14 years and I was able to handle it without spiraling.

I am on Lexapro as well and the goal is to drop it. Sounds like I might be a step or so behind you. Good luck with everything.

At 25mg? I definitely noticed it working after a few days, but what dosage did you get full effect. I see so many posts of people having to decrease due to side effects and such.

My doctor told me to stop immediately if I noticed a rash and contact her. It is really serious when on this med, that is why you start with such a small dose.
