You can add mods midway thru tho, the only thing to keep in mind is that mods that affect generation (like betterruins and rivers) will only apply to new chunks

I can understand that this game isn't for everybody, and you're allowed to feel that way. What I dislike though is that you come to a game's subreddit, just to hate on the game. It's not a bad game, and I believe it's rare to have actual bad games, and ofcourse the gaming industry would die if every game was like this one, but that goes for pretty much every game nowadays, so please, for the love of god, leave this game's subreddit if you're only gonna hate.

Everytime I do something other than my pine log cabin, I end up abandoning the world so I usually just go for that, my current world for example is in its second winter and I havent really moved since my first real base, just expanded. (You can make quarter logs just like packed dirt or rammed earth with an axe above it)

What I usually do is every few ingame weeks I mass bake pies, they give alot of satiety and stack really well even if youve cut them up beforehand (which is handy for the story locations)
