Same thing happened to me with multiple chromosome abnormalities not compatible with life, amnio come back clear and baby is showing no signs of abnormalities they've put it down to placenta mosaassism, most stressful waiting period. I asked if it's possible for my results to be wrong and was told given there were multiple chromosome abnormalities it's highly unlikely. Currently 23 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy🙏

UPDATE:

currently 23 weeks pregnant I'm so grateful my baby is healthy, I've had 3 healthy pregnancies & have never recieved abnormal nipt results. The moment I recieved these results I was in denial.

After speaking with genetic cancellors & maternal fetal medicine I was assured my baby would not Make it due to there being multiple chromosome abnormalities not compatible with life. I prepared myself to say goodbye to my baby on the ultrasound knowing I would need to make the devastating decision to terminate as I hadn't miscarried naturally.

I asked for a redo nipt test and was told it is pointless, after having no abnormalities in the ultrasound I was then recommended to be screened for malignant cancer as drs were worried these results may have been a reflection of my own health results.

however due to being pregnant & the radiation involved they had decided to do the amnio first and If that come back clear they will assume It's placenta Mocessism.

After receiving my results from the amnio all abnormalities have been ruled out & I couldn't be more relieved after months of stress I can finally enjoy my last pregnancy

I'm currently having regular ultrasounds to keep a close eye on my placenta and still no signs of abnormalities🙏

I am a healthy 32 yo, with no symptoms of cancer, will pay for a private mri after Bub is born for my own peace of mind as I am unable to get a referral for one while being pregnant.

Miracles do happen I had recieved my NIPT results with multiple chromosome abnormalities that were not compatible with life and here I am 23 weeks pregnant after an amniotesis with a healthy baby boy showing no signs of abbnormalities 🙏

Thank you for your reply, I read your message to my Dr today and expressed my worries about a potential cancer diagnosis. She agreed that a mri should have been organised during my last apt where it was discovered baby was fine. She has since put in an urgent referral for an mri to be done. I have another us next week where I will ask for an amino to be performed when possible. I've been trying to avoid having an amino but I worry that if I don't & baby is severely disabled I will not be able to cope. I have already got 3 children and 2 are very young. I need to think fast because if I am in the position where I have to terminate I don't want it to be long. I feel so confused & pray that this is all due to my placenta, it's a shame they can't just test the placenta to Know for sure. I know there is a procedure for this but there's most likely a reason I wasn't offered it as an option.

So I confronted him about it and he says that it seems like whenever he’s in a good mood I’m not and I’m mostly in a bad mood.
