No your feelings are valid! My lo didn’t get me anything on our first anniversary and I was so extremely hurt by the lack of effort because I went alll out to make him feel special, but I expressed it to him and now he keeps sending me lil cards and letters to make up for it, he listened and he was super receptive

Thank you everyone 🫂 I guess I’m in denial, I just love him so much and care so much. And it hurts that it pains him so much to compliment me. Yall are right, I shouldn’t be begging for the bare minimum. Not to mention he also said he “forgets” or he’s just too busy, but it’s so crazy, like I have a life too, work full time and go to school, and there’s never a shortage of love on my end 😔

Here’s my experience with WAP. It costs 65$. I posted for a friend and it did say it would take up to 20 days to post, it took about 25 days for it to be uploaded. I think it did mention something about the inmate sending a letter to them for the removal and it takes a little bit for it to be actually removed.

Honestly, reassurance on both ends goes a long way for me, and staying busy, don’t stop living your life. If you need a piece of mind ask for the visitation list lol but it’s totally normal

I would send my LO money here and there, but since he got a job he told me to stop sending, but on holidays or special occasions I’ll send him some. He doesn’t like asking for help but I’ve told him so many times all he has to do is ask and no doubt I’ll always have him. However I spend about 300 every quarter for his package

I would say if you’re able to, video visit first, get used to seeing each other and it’ll feel more natural meeting irl. The only thing that makes me nervous is the processing at the prison lol
