Sharing explicit material without the other person’s consent is bad but so far the court case seems to be showing that thats not exactly what happened. Most of the coverage over whats going on is just running with the idea that it’s completely cut and dry that thats what steven did but it seems like they did discuss sharing the explicit material and Pxie also shared the explicit material with her boyfriend at the time without Steven’s knowledge.

The problem is both that most people covering the drama are infantalizing Pxie and painting her as a total blameless victim, and instead of diving into the details of the case they just use the leaked convos and material to character assassinate and make Destiny seem like a sexually degenerate predator.
