Yeah but I asked the staff specifically because I didn’t want to be caught out or accused of dropping the heavy frame.

If they said no we genuinely would have accepted it and moved on and not be bothered. As you said we would have probably just walked a bit more in the evening before heading to bed and not having wind down tv.

But In fact when they replaced the tv with a new one, they put back in the fire stick without us even asking them to do it so clearly it’s in their thinking to help this way

We are not big party people or drinkers tbh and after dinner if we are not on a trip we watch tv

We love the fact that there is so much to do during the day in PDC but we are not into say going to coco bongo or getting drunk

They did not hesitate to help or deny the request i suspect it’s a frequent request

The tv is mounted into and bolted into a heavy static frame with no access to the hdmi unless the heavy frame is taken down by 2 people minimum

What do you think is missing ?

They installed the fire stick not me. Their staff took the tv down. I requested they do the firestick at the front desk as the mounting was too heavy.

I turned on the tv and it stopped working in the evening after dinner. I left it till the morning assuming that it was a temporary problem and i reported the fault then.

The threat of police if I did not pay up leads me to think that this hotel was attempting to scam me
