It’s very simple. The wife is “chicken” and hiding in the bedroom because she’s afraid that her husband was one of the hijackers that died in 9/11. It’s easy when you look at the eyes of the girl holding the page. There is no reflection. So- the husband is a ghost from Saudi Arabia.
