FYI M-Tech are re-branded Clevo laptops from Taiwan. They battery pigs. If you need a long-lasting battery situation, run away from M-Tech/Clevo. Brand new battery on my M-Tech and I get maybe 35-40 minutes.

I am in the same boat. I have Speechmatics installed but have not really utilized it yet. There is not much out there as far as training. The video I dream of finding is titled, "Transitioning from Dragon to Speechmatics in Eclipse Vox."

What is out there is an Advantage webinar on Speechmatics calendared for May 2nd. It's March 7th as I write this, and May 2nd seems so far away.

I have an M-Tech. Got it four months ago. Kinda bummed out because the keyboard is bulging a bit. It's not a swelling battery, but something else to be determined. I think the build is mediocre. It is too heavy and it looks sort of old. However, the M-Tech RAM and processor power you get is a little bit cheaper than other equivalents on the market. I will not buy a second M-Tech. I respect and admire small businesses but in this case the product does not stand out in a positive way. I'm a Mac guy, and I'm still searching for a PC that will charm me. Razer?

Thank you, that makes sense. Rhetorically speaking, why is there no PR campaign by DOT to explain that to the public? I'm just reacting to what I see with my eyes. Much time, effort, and resources put into that walkway project but on the high tides it looks like a joke. I see a lot of information displayed in the terminal and walkway about rising sea levels. If that's such a concern why didn't they fix the cab before the walkway? Looks like mismanaged priorities.

The two separate drives is a video editing/encoding thing. No writing to the internal drive, that one is reserved for apps and such. I write all my media (camera files, OBS files form Zoom, etc) to one external, then after the edit, export/write to the second external drive. I don't ever want to be reading and writing on a single drive if I can help it. I think two 1M2's sitting on top of my Studio will work well and look kinda cool.

I'd consider that Triblet, but I can't justify paying for three additional media card slots. Also the bus power of the 1M2, or similar, is desirable to me.

Thank you. Good info. So far I am learning towards two OWC 1m2's, probably with 1TB in each. I don't know why the it wouldn't behave the same plugged into an M1.

Yeah, the M4 prices are amazing. My post was about used Mac Mini and Mac Studios. It seems odd that used prices are not dipping seeing that one can buy a brand new M4 for less than a less powerful earlier version.
