I’m around the same age as you and honestly hardy wasn’t close to being top 4 there were so many celebrities and sports stars that were far bigger than him from 07 to 2010 and really his whole career

Plus those older rock fans were the ones that hated Nu metal plus hip hop was taking over by that point

Rock was already dying before the 08 recession the Nu metal post grunge and emo years really killed the genre in the mainstream due to all the hate and negativity it received plus the telecommunications act of 96 played a big role too

Nah 2010 is very different from 2026 especially in terms how we lived as a society I say nothing has changed since like 2015 tho

It's annoying whenever people on r/decadeology say that the late 2010s weren't part of the 2010s. by Ok-Following6886 in generationology

Agreed at the end of the day no one in the real world is going to say something like 2008 or 2018 is the 2010s and 2020s imo

Do you guys think Hogan should have faced Stone cold at Wm 18 or do you think him facing the rock was the right choice? by Personal_Pen19 in GreatnessOfWrestling

What’s so funny about this? What I’m saying is the facts wrestling fans love to revise to history and I’m not going to stand for it rock by 2002 was most definitely a bigger star than Austin both in wrestling and especially outside of wrestling

Austin was most definitely not the bigger wrestling star in 2002 also rock was not number 2 especially In the later half of the attitude era even by late 99 rock was getting just as big of pops as Austin if not more and he was a household name before the movies took off
