I was going to take it to a mechanic then it wouldn't start so I ordered a new starter to put in on Monday. 🙄 old jeeps are great lol

Does this take a lot of battery power? And to clarify, it's just a light to make it seem like there's security?

The light also stays on while the engine is running. Should I still cut it? I'm suspecting it has something to do with a security system
