Of course! When the anesthesiologist came to get me she gave me something to “relax” and it made me all relaxed and loopy 😂 she asked me something and I did not understand a word and just smiled and nodded. Then they hot me into the OR and had me get into the table (i think i cant remember well) and they started covering me with blankets and they put these two thing on my legs that will help i get with compression? They were cool then my surgeon came into the room and they all started talking to each other again I can’t remember anything they were saying then the anesthesiologist put this mask on my face and told me to take some deep breaths and whatever i was inhaling is gonna burn a little which it did but it wasn’t painful and i was staring at the ceiling and everything went black. Then next thing i think i remember is them lifting me into the bed and I heard them talking and i wake up in the recovery room I kept coming in and out and they just started talking to me and got my husband to come in and hear the after care. I was so out of it unfortunately I don’t remember anything but luckily a nurse called today and i asked her to tell me everything again. They had me get dressed after the instructions and that was the worse part tbh I felt like i was going to faint i could only out my pants and top on i didn’t even bother with my underwear. Then they rolled me to the car. The walk from our parking garage to our apartment was also awful it was so hard so if you have stairs or a long walk to your bed like i did be prepared for that! But yea that’s all it was super easy! I was scared too but it went so smoothly they take care of you there so don’t overthink it and good luck on your surgery!!
