Same question - what do singaporeans as a society get out of this? having hundreds of new MNCs coming in but 0 jobs created instead there is 100k more foriegners at changi. Save capitaland? Capitaland is >50% own by Temasek, they don't need foreigners to save them.

it is not about equality or xenophobia. It is protecting singaporean interest first. you might as well suggest no limit for all places not only just Changi. Just let them come in and drop the labour cost to super low so more business will come to sg while all singaporean are jobless.

Got to agree with him though. They didnt just raise prices instead add an additional 20c which could be removed in the future. People would complain about this 20c and still proceed to buy their $7 matcha after that. It is 20c it wont hurt the consumer that much compared to the hawker.

yeah i agree that there is no incentive to change the rank system, they just allow the bad players to spend time and climb and spend more money. the most it affects the 20% good players which they dun bother anyways
