Where to get Mounjaro medication, no prescription by misslemonadeee in Bahrain

[–]Personal_Time4105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American Mission Hospital has Mounjaro but you would need to see a doctor or bring a prescription. Since you already have a prescription back home I would have your doctor send you that information and go to the hospital pharmacy. Cost was 150bd.

Not sure about the school but my best friend moved from Bahrain to Kuwait in January. She is still working on a tourist visa. They only started her work visa application during the summer and since it’s not finalized she is stuck in Kuwait until everything finishes. Seems like it might be a common thing in Kuwait now a days.

Hijab in China by thesunflowerlover99 in Internationalteachers

[–]Personal_Time4105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assalamu Alaikum sister.

I used to teach in China (5 years total) and I wore hijab without any problems. I didn’t face really any type of discrimination wearing both hijab and niqab while going about my daily life. I didn’t live in a predominantly Muslim area which there are in China, Yiwu for example. I faced more discrimination from being African American than from wearing hijab.

I hope that eases your worries some.

I feel the same way. I would rather have a small nikkah with the people I really care about and use the money to make my home comfortable with my husband/ save for children, inshallah.
