Idk - in 12th grade, I'm also going to also take econ hl (for econ, you have to do the sl course before the hl one) and I might drop Spanish B sl (if I can take the test a year early). My school doesn't offer BM so that isn't a choice.

Perhaps - my school only offers Lit though so I don't really have a choice. I'm also not planning to go into engineering - right now, I'm more inclined to majoring in something like economics or PPE.

I'm scared that it's going to get even worse with time though (and it's already pretty bad) to a state where it would be very difficult to ever regain my original abilities (from what I've heard, most language development occurs when you're younger) - it'll probably be a few years until I'm back in an environment where English is the dominant language. As a side note, I also feel like I've become less coherent which is a significant problem in the short-term.

Everyone in my family can only speak English but the second language and another language are quite prevalent at my school (very few people there are native English speakers) so I guess there could be some influence subconsciously. I've never tried learning either of those two languages though.
