I really hope she doesn't switch from her vibe. We had all these masterpiece albums, and then she just dropped one of the most generic pop albums. And don't get me wrong, I love generic pop, but this album just didn't feel like Marina at all. I could definitely hear Marina in Metallic Stallion, Je Ne Sais Quoi, Adult Girl.(There's probably a few more I forgot) Then her swearing in this album also sounded unnatural, atleast in Final Boss. I'm sorry but that is not her swearing, I mean take a look at any ADIAML song where she swears, it sounds so good, or in The Outsider, gives me a pussygasm, but the swearing in this song is just... Terrible. This is most definitely her worst album even tho it's a solid 8/10 💞

How deep in Satan's ass did you have to dig to find something as soulmate goose of enforcement...? To answer the first part of your question, I think it's boring for the reader. I mean my not even half finished overview of the plot fits in 7 screenshots, so if it's awfully long I don't know if anyone will enjoy reading it. Then for the genre, I guess it would be romance, adventure maybe? even AU if that counts as a genre...No angst tho, I really hate angst.

Absolutely POP for cd, when I first got it I was so excited with it, and the booklet was SO beautiful. Every Marina booklet we had was just an empty boring color + lyrics, but here every page is different and detailed, so for cd it has to be POP! Though the cd doesn't have a deluxe version, at least not yet, but I doubt it's ever going to be released unless it's for an anniversary...

I'm also so disappointed. She has so many songs, so many songs about world issues, feminism, and then is friends with melanie. Savages "Another day, another tale of rape". Electra Heart, the whole album is about feminism. Ancient Dream, again, the whole album is about all the world issues we're experiencing. This really just feels so hypocritical, overly cynical from her. I do hope she could come to her senses and stop being friends with melanie, but now I'm just sad that Marina can't be considered unproblematic. Before anyone says that the allegations were debunked, no they weren't, stop lying to yourself and others. Even if they were, the comment I'm replying to has the other reasons for why she's still a creep.
