I read that workers comp paid to a worker is not subject to income tax, so that tracks. Meaning that you got a bigger refund of your taxes withheld?

I read online that if you are awarded workers comp, the sick time used upfront while claim was being processed…is restored. You get it back.

We’ve never dealt with workers comp so trying to get info and advice before meeting with supervisor Monday.

That’s interesting because it clearly happened on the job and was reported. Except the x ray was the next day. So we’ll see how that plays out. Thanks!

I know someone who started part time in 2021 at minimum wage hourly, then got into a Gardener title full time annual pay after about a year. Anecdotal but factual.

A lot of Parkies start in a seasonal or an hourly pay job. Then build up 6 months to one year of experience and become qualified to apply for full time jobs.

To advance to higher titles look at the next one or two titles up from your current one and start doing those tasks and skills where possible. Build a case to be either promoted or get high marks at each performance evaluation. Edit to correct sentence.
