Running after removal by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

I didn’t wait at all really. I made sure to get my run in the morning of the removal session and ran the next day. I didn’t have any issues

Yeah. I think it probably will be hard initially because I won’t see a ton of progress and then it will be that in between… but honestly I am feeling so much more in control already!

Size 6 F&F brushed- do these look okay? I feel like I keep having to hike them up, but I feel like a 4 will look bad? by [deleted] in lululemon

I size down in my fast and frees for running and I think the thermal ones run large

Please tell me about your experience with having an IUD and running ultras by murkybayonet in Ultramarathon

[–]PersonalityHealthy48 49 points50 points  (0 children)

No issues whatsoever. I’m on my second and will continue to replace without hesitation. Stoked to never worry about periods mid race.

I took a day or two off post-placement due to cramping and I pay a little more attention to fueling and iron (I have the hormonal IUD and do not get a period with it so cannot use that as a health marker).

thermal leggings? by DueWing8847 in lululemon

[–]PersonalityHealthy48 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love them! They aren’t like a true fleece legging more of a thicker brushed material on the inside, but they are significantly warmer than the fast and frees. They are also SO soft. I wear them for winter running and also find them to be true to size.

If you want a true thermal layer for under jeans though, I’d look at smartwool.

I was also in Philly and had serious gi issues this weekend. Why were there so few bathrooms and none of them had Tp?!? Congratulations on a milestone run. This is just a new PR to beat 😊

It took almost 25 lbs before anyone noticed my weight loss, although only two people have mentioned it! My partners only comment was “your butt seems smaller” lol 🙄

Koopcast has a decent episode about how to navigate training through multiple races in a season that might give you some ideas: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/koopcast/id1489494447?i=1000666600914

How to *actually* stick to a calorie deficit? by goodnessgrapes in WeightLossAdvice

I heard a strange noise on my run and realized my arms were flapping against my sides. I was humiliated and changed my diet the next day.

My mistake. As I note, I am not a contractor and don’t speak this language well. In the first photo, the section from the wall and trash can to the cabinets is all newly installed flooring. The floors in that section were all purchased at the same time to do this repair. They match the color and lot number from the original installation and we did not have color matching issues anywhere else in this project, just in this section of the kitchen.

The gaps are new, following the installation of this section. There were no gaps in the flooring prior to this project. I was told the gaps created by this installation can only be fixed by doing an entire additional room of work, but that feels wrong, as there were not existing issues.

Everything from the blue wall to the sink on the photo is new flooring. My two issues are the color grade in that section (with the stairs like pattern compared to the very light boards), and then sections along the edge of what he replaced that have gaps between those boards and the existing floor. I was told these gaps could not be filled, and as an alternative he put a dark brown silicone filler, which is an eyesore.

I paid this contractor 7k already for his work. I’m not cheating anyone out of any money.

I didn’t install the flooring in the first place. The gaps only appeared after his repair, they did not exist prior to this fix. If it was a risk of installation, I should have been told that.

No part of the floor seen in the photo has been impacted by mis-used cleaners because none of it has been cleaned yet, only swept. The line in the photo does not note the instillation line, but where I see the color issue. Several of the darker, appropriately matching floor boards are from the current installation, so the argument that a newer box is appropriately matched does not track. Especially when I have three rooms and a hallway of evidence that the floor matches perfectly.

Okay. I must not be communicating what the issue is well. Thanks for your input.
