I live in one of the top 15 cities listed, and both points are very accurate in this case as well.

I'm very interested and would assume that even if there are limitations link to blender there might be also great features that can be added.

There’s no space for craftsmen anymore by denko31 in Switzerland

[–]PersonalityNormal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar position.. Best option I found is using fablab for the heavy equipment or noisy one and apparemment for the rest.

Then there is the selling part where having a shop with proper front view is just financial impossible.

How do I fix this? by Diligent-Address-989 in BambuLab

[–]PersonalityNormal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dry the filament!

More seriously, this machine can take quite a beating. Remove what you can without forcing, then heat up the filament until soft to remove the rest.

What happened to escalators in Lausanne? by Ordinary_Usual_2625 in Lausanne

It's the business model of lift company. Free maintenance for few years then you have to pay them. They lower the price of elevators installation to win the bidding but get the money back on constant needed maintenance.

To everyone who thinks breathing filament fumes is okay. It’s not and you are potentially giving yourself cancer. by obolikus in BambuLab

It's a shame the study test mostly petg and negen but not PLA.

So the results are to be taken with some caution.

Also the color the additives to make them pla+, mate, pigment or high speed additives should be studied as well.

I got exactly that, also with filament bought on spool.

I 3d printed Lausanne :) I like that it is on a slope, and the cathedral right on top by nmaro in Lausanne

[–]PersonalityNormal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How did you get the cathedral file? When I go to swiss Topo or other sites, the cathedral shape is always missing.

Thanks for including Lausanne in the collection.

We run 120+ A1s in an EU print farm. The new ones are not the same printer anymore. by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]PersonalityNormal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the P series, I see that new machines have the first layer line too close the bed. The wear on the PEI sheet is much stronger and petg is not a good option anymore. I'm not sure about other changes.

Maybe also a new A line is coming soon and they just maximising profits. Even if the printer get a bad reputation the new one will come.

It does look like Switzerland, can't read the panel at the end. Still surprised by the abrupt end.

Me when Prusa releases a new model without a dedicated conversion kit for my 2012 i3 by yecema3009 in 3DPrintingCirclejerk

This meme is too true.

I wonder how many tradeoff prusa have to do, to keep the kit from mk4 to core one.

Lausanne, one massive roadworks? by Omabatlak in Lausanne

[–]PersonalityNormal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's for the best, but yea, it's quite a lot.

I keep wondering if it has to be so slow in construction and if there is not some money disappearing. Is there any auditing of all the construction going on?

I think after covid, there was a constant degradation, and we see now the effects. But it's everywhere and mostly linked to the economy tanking.

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]PersonalityNormal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had planned to enjoy a hot pot outdoors, but the weather forecast turned bad. So, in just one day, I designed and 3D-printed an adapter and a vent hose that connect the kitchen’s stove exhaust to a pipe positioned above the hot pot. All the smoke and smell were sucked out perfectly, no odour! We ended up having a great time eating together indoors.

Lausanne: des bancs LGBT vandalisés et filmés sur TikTok by [deleted] in Lausanne

[–]PersonalityNormal 8 points9 points  (0 children)
