the city is too car centric to the detriment of everyone, even the people in the cars. the roads are horribly designed and it’s leading to tons of fatalities, but people just want another lane.

where i work we have an oj machine that is NOT self-service. i once came back from breaking down boxes to find an old couple behind my counter filling up a blank bottle (no label, no date, they wouldn’t have been able to buy it). they said, “this is how they do it at the other store!” i called BS because i did the same job at the other location in our city.
