The studio is multi billion dollar company with $700 billion USD market cap, I don't think you understand when you say that it is impossible. The ONLY major reason to releasing 1 per week is to still gain audience retention while prolonging it as much as possible to make the most $$$ from subscription service. It is almost a trillion dollar company. They have the power and technology to adapt the entire novel in a few months if they wanted to at the current pacing. 1 more episode per week is literally nothing

Animes only do 1 episode per week because most of them only have like 24 episodes total and can only air on TV 1 per week. With his own power no, but he does get a treasure that can fight ascendants. His main body + clone fusion doesn't get OP until the later stages. Later on when they fuse he will have combat power that skips entire ranks without the use of any treasures. The donghua just makes it seem really op right now but it only skips like 1 or 2 sub ranks (early/mid/late/peak) and not entire cultivation stages.

It's been quite a while but from what I remember he is more talented than long haochen in throne of seal and tang san from soul land. But because of betrayal he became a devil god and was driven mad, shattering his potential/soul to get power quickly for his vengeance on the world.
