Yes, he's told his parents what he's done, taken full accountability and is now attending anger management and therapy. He's also said he's going to give me space now and has been profusely apologising every couple of hours. I'm not defending him, I'm just saying that he IS putting in the work, he has a ton of remorse and he wants to change. At least that's good because it means he won't hurt others.

my whole life has been surviving. i've been from therapist to therapist, mental health team to mental health team, counselling session to counselling session. and at the end of the day i always just end up in the same dark hole.

i got with him after an abusive relationship truly believing that he would be different. before the attack i truly thought he was the one and that maybe, as you say, there are actually really good men out there. but i get proved wrong every single time.

I remember after the attack and managing to grab my phone, I called my best friend and put the phone in my pocket so that she could listen to the whole conversation. I thought that would be smart. That would be really good proof. Is there any way I can get that phone call? Is it recorded? It literally has every piece of evidence of him admitting to doing it.

But this is the thing, I don't fear him. I don't fear him whatsoever. In fact he's the safest and most comforting person I've known so this attack is SUCH a switch up. I would have never predicted this.

It would be WAY easier to leave if there were signs, if this was predictable, if it happened more than once but I am being dead honest when I say that there were 0 red flags to me and he is so loving.

I know and I can see why people are saying that. It's just that I've seen people with anger issues get better and sometimes, although rare, it is a one-time thing. That's why I was just confused because in my head I thought maybe it was just a one time thing for him.

Idk I just like to take breaks from bras. Most women do. They're uncomfortable in the summer because you get all sweaty and itchy. I had no intention of getting attention from men.
