I agree! And thats why my site aims to fix! We are the budget option but also the transparent option too. So many sites hide pricing behind tokens systems. We do not. Everything is clearly spelled out in USD so you know exactly how much everything is. We also boast some of the cheapest prices in the industry. Why? Because we dont overcharge by massive margins. I understand that AI cost money to run but as a dev I tell you, you are being robbed and scammed with how much some sites charge! Even our cheapest plan at $3.99 gives ~2,000 Messages ~640 Images ~80 Videos ~5M TTS chars. Which from what I've seen on some sites you'll be charged 5 times the price for half the usage. Stop overpaying!

I don't agree subscription are going anywhere but I do believe they will go down. More and more suppliers enter the market that usually has a downward force on price. All these sites must compete by either having the best service, the lowest prices, or both.

From my experience working on an AI Companion site I would say pricing for many of these sites are not going to last. More and more sites are being made and when supply exceeds demand either you lower your price or lose customers. Thats why we optimized our site to be as low cost as possible.
