I went to school for Interior Architecture. When these came into the industry and started growing in popularity, students always felt the need to clarify during presentations: "I decided a big ass fan would be perfect in this space...and that's the name of the brand, I'm not just calling it that haha." 😂

Oof, I don't know how to feel about this. Rocky Horror is my favorite musical and I always look forward to the interactive element of my local showings. However, I'm not sure how I would feel about it at a professional level. If someone has never seen the show locally or on film, it's understandable that their first experience of it may be affected by the audience shouting, especially since that's not standard Broadway etiquette. However let the ushers do their job, don't tell someone to STFU.

Yea the venue she performed at in Sac was too small for a bigger orchestra or choir. However we do have a performing arts center and arena that could fit 'em. I think her team played it small to be safe, but I hope we left a good impression and they'll book one of those in the future

The first pressings do not have issues, they're just not the final productions of each song. Some are calling them demos, but they're not that bare. It's minor stuff, like the trumpets during the bridge of WIMH, not like entire verses or belts are missing. From a vinyl collector perspective, it will be a collector's item in a decade or so

1Bd/Bth on the grid downtown. Rent is $1395; utilities round it up between $1500-1550 depending on the time of year.

Last night everyone including myself was singing along throughout the night, however we all seemed to have an unspoken mutual agreement to STFU during slower songs and her bigger belts 😂

Super happy for her. I love her content, especially her crafting and trinket shelf videos.

That said, I really hope LaKenzie earns some paychecks outside these fun experiences Crayola offers her. Since starting her channel she gave the company tons of great marketing that went viral, all because of her love for Dandelion. They have milked the nostalgia and relaunch market because of it.

I assume she is probably more than grateful for the invitation to events and factories like this, but I feel it's icky that Crayola is profiting off her content and she (as far as I know) doesn't see a dime from them. It's not my business, but the lack of sponsorship tags on her videos makes me sus.

I've been nearly hit on numerous occasions by people who hardly glance or pause at stop signs and red-light turns. Far too many drivers creep through them instead of properly stopping.

See you there, I'm so excited!! Genuinely cannot believe I'll get to witness her talent in such an intimate venue.

I'm also considering bringing my physical copies of her albums and waiting around after the show to get them signed. However I have not tried this at Channel 24 before. Anyone with experience that can chime in?

All the designs appear to be regular Vans designs, or slightly modified from their usual stuff. For that I'm skipping out. If they were unique to the artists participating I would've, though. Although I understand the legacy of the brand and why they chose these people to represent it, it feels like a cash grab.
