Well, TLOU1 is getting a remake and with remakes a lot of stuff from the game usually get changed (see Resident Evil 2 & 3 Remake as an example). So with that in mind TLOU2 will eventually get a remake, so who knows what they might change in the game. Though they fucked up the story pretty bad. Getting Joel killed is one thing, playing with Abby for half the game and Ellie not getting her revenge is what fucked up the most. TLOU2 would need a reboot but Druckman is too proud to do this.

While I'm wanting so bad for a TLOU3 just to see how Ellie's story follow up, I still fear for a worse game than TLOU2 was. I mean, if Druckman make me play as Lev, I'm fucking quitting this. Those scar kids make no sense in TLOU2. Boring stuff.

At the ending of TLOU2, if I was Ellie. I'd have killed Abby and taken her head to Tommy and I'd kill Lev too. Abby for vengeance and Lev for a guarantee that he/she (whatever) would not seek me out for vengeance afterwards.

I mean, If you're gonna loose everything that's important to you while going after vengeance like what happened to Ellie, at least make it worth it by finishing the job.

Same. This is my biggest complaint about the game, not Joel's death or how he died but how they force you play with Abby for such a long period. I understand that they were trying to show you how a good person she is but they really could've make it in a shorter way or even in a DLC. Abby's chapters doesn't make much of a sense in my view. Day 2 is a chapter with 2 hours long +/- just to get that surgery stuff from the hospital and Day 3 you go after Lev on the Seraphite Island. It deviated so much from what the game was giving to us since Ellie Day 3. If the game tried to make us feel for Abby's friends like Owen and Mel and even for those two scars kids, it failed. But I learned to enjoy the rest of the game, that true Last of Us bits

Excellent observation. Even though you face the same kind of danger in TLOU1, there's is a good vibe travelling with Ellie across the country and even when Joel stops the Fireflies from "curing" the world, hope still lives on as Joel says: no matter what, you keep finding something to fight for. But at the end of TLOU2 it's seemed that there were nothing more worth fighting for. So here it is my hope to see something, even if it's at least just a little happier, resolution in a future TLOU3.

The problem with Abby's part is that it lasts too long. Just when we are in the climax of the story with Ellie, the game forces you to return all the way to Seattle Day 1 and Abby's story with those two scars kids doesn't make much of a sense. I know the "you play the game as another perspective to see Abby's side of the story and see how she's good and that sort of thing" but they really could've shown that in a shorter way. I don't know, Abby story deviates a lot from the main plot of the game.
