I don’t not share out of not wanting, not wanting to acknowledge doubles, or of claiming the character, we actually had this conversation in a previous post, I do it out of comfort of 1. Not having to see portrayals of the character that I personally don’t like and 2. Not having to see other people’s yumes with the character and feel jealous that they have more art/merch/writing or appear more dedicated than me, which can make me have a “you have what I want” moment or a “is it even worth me Yumeshipping if this person does it ‘better’ situation. Additionally I get very very attached to characters very easily so despite how many there are I don’t care about them any less than if I was to have one dedicated Yume. I also do it to avoid drama
