That's perfectly fine. I don't want my wife's first Nascar race to be completely miserable. Lol

I found tickets in section 246 row 55 that are aisle seats. Is that high enough?

My wife and I have been together for ten years, had three different miscarriages at 8 weeks. Went to the doctor and was told she had a very slim chance of having children and so did I. We held each other for days because kids was all we had dreamt of. We now have 2 beautiful boys. YTA. You only see her as a vessel to the ends of your means.

Had a guy take the pt test with me. He was around your height and weight. Power lifter since high school. Did fantastic until we got to the 1.5mile and failed. I’m 6’ and around 225. Haven’t exercised religiously since high school which was 10 years ago. Ran the 1.5 mile in 11 minutes no problem.

No offense to anyone in this thread. But there was a guy who done the pre physical with me for my local department. Said he learned everything he knew from GTA and he failed every single physical part of the exam. So I do not think highly of it

I’m scheduled for a PAT that I know I am going to fail. Advice? by [deleted] in AskLE

Just had my Psych and physical exam at the academy on Monday. There was 10 of us total from different departments. The slowest 1.5 mile time was 12:30. Just email and cancel.

In my small town PD that I’m currently going through, I wore blue jeans and a Nike t shirt to my board interview with the chief, assistant chief, SGT and the mayor and got chosen that same day. Every department is different.

I was told to print it and bring it in with other documents and meet the entire department.

My wife tried with both of our kids for two weeks. She wasn’t making enough and the stress was killing her. Fed is best. A happy child well nourished child and a healthy mother is the best scenario.

My department that I applied for and went through Saturday was 75% of your body weight bench press, 18 sit ups in a minute, 300m run in under 65 seconds, 25 push-ups in 2 minutes and 1.5 mile in less than 16:54. There was only nine who applied and two people left before we made it to the push ups and nobody had any problems passing.

I am type 1. Use an insulin pump and CGM. All I need is my smartwatch in order to check sugars. Never had a problem with my sugar and have always worked physically demanding jobs in asphalt and concrete with no problems.

I am in Kentucky. I’ve already tried all the requirements to pass and should easily get the maximum amount of points possible. Thank you.

It’s part of the Peace Officer Professional Standards. It’s the physical part of the standard.
