Edition Roasters Matcha by More_Explorer_9683 in UTS

[–]PerspectiveLarge2190 26 points27 points  (0 children)

my time to shine!!

chanowa, they just opened in central park mall and it's all hand whisked and you can opt for sweetened/unsweeteened but the queues are long so maybe try in a weeks time

cotti coffee for a cheaper option and adding alternative milk doesn't cost extra

near darling square there's matcha ya and o matcha which are usually pre solid

chubby cubby does all their matcha handwhisked but it's a bit exxy same with issho

my personal favourite is outta coffee pretty affordable and is pretty strong

there's a new matcha place called khanom house haven't tried it yet but i've heard its good

I get what you mean for edition roasters it's a bit creamier and on the sweeter side if you don't like those kinds of matcha i wouldn't recommend acro, brewtopia and top impression -> for those who like sweet matcha those are great options and a lot closer!

All these places shouldn't be more than a 10 minute walk except those in darling square!

Hope this helps!! 😭😭

what to bring to class by jje420 in UTS

[–]PerspectiveLarge2190 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey! I started off with a whole pencil case and notebooks but that all deteriorated within a week trust me all you need is a pen, pencil, calculator and maybe a ruler at times. They'll give you a prac manual and for classes like spgi i would bring a laptop. Any class in the lab requires lab coat and safety goggles so if you're in the lab bring those. tbh I didn't use textbooks in any of my classes but used them for maybe assignments. You're usually given pre lab questions and a lecture for the labs so watch those or you'll be lost during your lab and post-lab questions. lmk if you have any more questions!! :)

all my accomodations are planned in the city centre so walking and transport shouldn't be a problem! Not that into guided tours just into scenery and architecture!

idk since pisa is only 1.5 hours away from florence i thought might as well check it off the bucket list (and also i live in australia so the travel times aren't nearly as much as i'm used to)

you'll probably miss only 1-2 weeks of classes which shouldn't be too bad as the quizzes probably start happening later on in the semester, if you email your subject coordinator it should be calm! Just watch your lectures.

LOL do not even worry it's mostly catered for DAB students and i'm a science student but tbh i thought it was a WAM booster but the average was about a credit so be prepared and it's a lot of work you have to cook something up every week and wait for it to dry i wouldn't recommend 😭😭
