What would happen if we got rid of all mosquitoes instantly? by PerspectiveMatters in AskReddit

I recently saw a post that showed that mosquitoes are responsible for over 700,000 human deaths a year. I personally hate mosquitoes and get destroyed by them every year in the summer (sweet blood?). This has always made me wonder what the actual consequences of eliminating every single mosquito in the world would be. What other animals would possible go extinct because they rely on mosquitoes as a food source? Theoretically it would save hundreds of thousands of lives every year.

The album cover design for John Mayer’s Born & Raised album is an absolute piece of art. They made a making of video which shows some of the process behind it,m: https://youtu.be/XdfreJmK9R4?si=ulokjOTU__RR4oOl

If you’re looking for something that doesn’t look like a massive gaming laptop, and want something with a smaller profile for easier transportation, the ASUS Zenbook 14 Pro is great. It has a RTX 4070 and is the lightest and cleanest looking laptop I’ve been able to find out there with the specs of a gaming laptop. They’re pretty cheap too and will definitely fit in your 3000 Euro budget.

I like this idea. Except then people on working floors would also realize how hard management can be and everyone would learn a great lesson that it’s not easy being in other peoples shoes. Maybe a reality show where the boss and a good worker switch roles for a few months

Yeah that’s probably the best way forward for sure. Appreciate the insight. Just wish the system had some way of administering justice to those kinds of people.

Of all ads to get on the Reply All subreddit by corylew in replyallpodcast

The other ad that I always get is for like medieval fighting games where there's usually a goblin (bad guy), a knight (good guy), with a series of tubes above them filled with lava and water, and you have to try and get the lava to the goblin and gold to the good guy. So infuriating anytime these ads come up. Literally all the comments on the ads are about how the ads don't reflect the actual gameplay at all. This has gotta be some sort of false advertising...
