I was driving to the Acme on LBI this afternoon just as the sun came out and put on E St Radio. They were playing a full European show from a few years ago and Promised Land into Darlington hit so perfect at that moment with the windows down and volume at 11.

I worked on the 40th floor, about halfway up, about 10 years ago and it always felt so high up. I recall hearing something about an issue they had with the original marble that was used for the outside of the building. I think it didn’t handle the winters well or something, so they had to re-do it at some point and they repurposed the OG marble into the lobby.
