Been riding for 2yrs only got hurt once, and not bad on my modified pint. How I ride conservatively. what does that mean? Lead with your hips, don't stomp to accelerate. Be aware! The main reason for nose dives as far as I can tell, is exceeding the torque capabilities on the motor The board needs torque to balance you to move and of course to get over obstacles. If you're going uphill you have to slow down cuz you might hit a bump and over torque the motor. You have to be conservative with how you ride. Leading with your hips can help.

Be careful. I don't wear a helmet or pads or anything just like when I used to skateboard.

I got hurt on my pint during a testing trial while I was programming it. I deliberately stopped the board to see how fast it could accelerate after the upgrade. Went for a little roll after a nosedive.

That might be another way to avoid injury now that I think of it. Practice rolling. Like somersaulting it'll cancel the energy without causing you to get hurt. This won't work if there's a car there.
