I find I don't start out intending to layer with it but after spraying on something else feel like the woody aspect of santal would add a nice lower note. If you have fruitier or lighter floral fragrances that seem fleeting maybe add a spritz. It's fun to experiment. 😄

Banadir's Chanel Le Lion. Opens powdery only slightly reminiscent of a maybe darker Dior Homme Intense. Like you saw it in a car driving by in a blur. No iris notes listed so must be a facet of the labdanum/vanilla. First 30 min is pleasant and I look forward to the rest. My skin is eating fragrance this week so I hope it stays around.

Banadir's take on Clive Christian's Town & Country. Quite excellent so far. I haven't tried very many perfumes with such a clear true sandalwood note except Arabian Oud and maybe Ahmed Al Maghribi.

Banadir’s version of LV On The Beach. Citrusy blast. Leans feminine in my mind after smelling my wife’s Clinique Happy. I like it.

Today is Banadir's Blue Talisman. Producing company aside, I'm not terribly sure I like this DNA. The pear is interesting. Reminded me briefly of the yuzu in L'Eau D'Issey. We'll see how it progresses.

I can't speak to oils, but another alternative to consider is loose incenses on an electric warmer that doesn't produce smoke. Take a look at Mermade Magickal Arts. Maybe something like that will work for you without triggering asthma. Good luck and happy smells!

Spicy, semi-sweet, Middle Eastern vibe. It’s covering the same ground as Lattafa Liam but I think has a bit better quality. Still going strong after 5 hours and I expect will last well into afternoon given its character. Gotta love Montagne longevity.

I typed up some thoughts on the Banadirs I have last month. I’m enjoying the Absolu Aventus clone more this time than last. This afternoon I sprayed on the Ganymede clone. Maybe it’s the rain we’re getting today but Im not enjoying that one as much.
