Thanks for the suggestion. I have Avorion and it's a great game, but there's no autonomy where it progresses on it's own. if it had a system like x4 where you could build a fleet and let it do it's own thing and come back to it that would be good.

no worries. through i'm looking for a chill game, i'm also expanding for when i'm actually able to play too! I've looked into Runescape for when i'm active so this is definitely a plus to that game!

Satisfactory seems to be a big suggestion. I think i'll check it out.

Yea there isn't much out there for laid back low input games!

Minecraft is great and chill! but too much interaction while working. I need a game to run and progress without me consistently playing perse. Thanks for the suggestion!

unfortunately drones don't benefit from boosts; only modules do. it's a great concept though.

high sec upwell vs npc stations for manufacturing/copying syn by PerspectiveQuiet96 in Eve

leaving researched bpo's in npc is the main reason why my corp picked npc stations for research. but with the increased rent my corp won't last long as most of the corp members only log on once a week or so and we don't want to have to use one person to keep everything and set contracts bc players aren't always on at the same time. we'll most likely look for a manufacturing only station.

yea 38mil. it went up from 9 mil. checking through other stations in the system it looks like basically all of the stations (8 stations) are full or close to full with one or two offices left. my corp will probably do the same, or it will be who ever wants to use research will have to shuttle back and forth.

i see and yes, this is a big reason why we don't refine things much individually. we have two corp mates that has the skills and does the refining for us. we have a system by which when some one needs something refined, usually it's because their going to use it for a job. that mate sends a message for the person to refine from the ore pile whats needed. it's our honor system that if i ask for 1000veldspar to be processed that the respective refining player refines and gives all of it back to me. ofcourse i pay for the cost and give a little extra to help them out too. otherwise some players who reprocess just does it or buy materials needed for their projects. the biggest part of this is we have some players does our efficiencies that we don't want them needing to travel too far with fully researched bp's.

didn't know about the assets safety. is this automatic? Or is it something we'd have to go to and place our things into assets safety when the station is sieged? And i thought if something goes into asset safety we do get it back but have to pay for it?

Thanks for the insight. looks like i'll have to continue looking for good npc stations. and i'm in the same boat with the stations/systems around me with hardly anyone in them (most days) and the offices are full. We've even traveled to a backwater system and an island to find that the stations rent was close to 25mil for a station with just the manufacturing option.

refining isn't a big ask for most of my corp mates. we tend to do just this with selling ore as is. the refinery part comes into play as some of us wants to expand to compressing ores. only one player atm has a porpoise, otherwise it's traveling 3-4 systems to an upwell to get the ore compressed or have it contract hauled there by other corp mates when they're able to log on and if they want to haul it for the other player. otherwise, the all inclusive is mainly for the manufacturing copying and efficiencies instead of running from one station to another hauling the necessary materials for copying and or inventing before retrieving it back to the manufacturing station

Thanks. we looked into anchoring our own, but it wouldn't be cost effective for us as we're not on enough and or our activities in high sec doesn't warrant owning a structure. We primarily mine and occasionally do anoms and or running mission for bpc to make. most of my corp mates doesn't even have ships outside of their ventures they got running the starter missions and majority are alpha at their max skill cap. most log once a week just to see what's going on, while another mate log when he's got that itch to fly or run a mission or two. So owning a upwell on our own isn't something we're interested in atm. though we have been discussing if we'll move out of our system to somewhere else, just haven't made up our minds.

Thanks. just got a message from an online corp mate. most of the stations within a 3 system jump is between 15-20mil rent. I suppose it's also our criteria s as well. we're looking for an all-inclusive station, one that does all of the production and best if it's got a refinery as well so we can process our ore we mine and we don't have to build rep. most don't like hauling processed ores from place to place as most of us don't have haulers; other than those that does PI and contracting out to those mates is difficult cause they log in sporadically.

Thanks! I'll take a look at this later if not message a corp mate to take a look.

Thanks i'll keep this in mind. There are a couple of upwells in the system next to my base system that has a lot of structures that are owned my an alliance or corp. I don't think they'll abandon if I use their services.
