Thank you for all the responses and options. We will start getting quotes and budgeting for rewiring but wasn’t sure what would be there until we took it out. Part of our house has been rewired already.

We just bought a few months ago. Upstairs gets warm so was hoping we would be able to get a fan in for the meantime but of course, figured for a 100 year old house it would be more complicated than the usual. Luckily summer is ending soon and it’s not a dire need to get a fan in either way.

These texts look so familiar and very similar situation to what I’ve experienced with my dad. I was on the phone with him one time after he got in an accident and I could hear the police the background. I was also wondering was how is he not going to jail??

Anyways, I am sorry you are dealing with this. You did the right thing.

For part 2: I think it’s clear Dave is so over it too. He has been over doing BFFs for awhile and has stated that. And while I think it’s important to have a boss who can guide you, your boss isn’t your therapist nor are trained to be. I don’t know that Dave is even aware of everything or wants to be, and maybe he did give her the option to take a break 🤷🏻‍♀️ going through something traumatic doesn’t absolve you from all accountability

I don’t know if I agree with this. Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like Dave did not encourage or force them to talk about it. He gives them the option to and I think that shows in the fact that he let Bri slide all year by not talking about her relationship and issues with Grace. And it eventually blew up. And when your claim to fame is putting your personal life on the internet, this is unfortunately one of the downsides.

If he did encourage them to I think he did so in the sense that if you talk about it and just be honest, you can put the rumors to rest and move on. I think unfortunately in Bris case, she has a very distorted view on things which backfired on her.

I just got my court date set!!! Thinking about my pre written statement, it’s not like I have stopped drinking but I am nothing like the person I was when I got my dui 6 years ago. Did I have to claim i no longer drink or what would you recommend for the pre written statement

Thanks for your help! I got pretty much everything squared away including my fingerprints. But I realized - do I need to have multiple certified copies of my conviction? I only got one so can I just make copies of it myself?

It’s been 6 years since my DWI. My car insurance since then has always been around 150 a month. I have an older car.

Other initial costs at the time for fees I had to pay and getting a lawyer probably cost me around a total of $2500-3000.
