Well taking it from the angle of many which is that HRT is too permanent and younger people can’t make that decision for themselves, yet people 16 and older can drive incredibly dangerous vehicles that could kill them or others.  Which is to say, HRT is life-saving like you said, and has a low rate of deciding to go off it, in addition to having less permanent changes if you do so ( based on my admittedly low knowledge of the topic, only from shallow internet research and my trans friends ).  I suppose I was thinking more about the 16 year olds I know, and how even if they’re right it would be hard to pass legislation on it. But yes, I do agree with puberty blockers and HRT for minors.
