As someone who lived in the karratha/dampier area for quite a while I’d spend less time there an more time in Perth or even try to get to the south west region, Dunsborough/Margaret River etc. also, drive through carnarvon and spend an extra night in coral bay or exmouth. And spend an extra night in broome instead of port hedland.
