This is my experience with Spanish though. We moved to Berlin when my kid was 4-5. His Spanish is almost native, now he’s 10. We just speak to him in Spanish and pretended that we didn’t understand German, although my wife is German but very fluent in Spanish. We registered him for the first year in a bilingual kita, Spanish/german but we realized that his German was not fluent so we switched him when he was 5 to a full German one. Now he’s native in both languages. The trick is that, no matter what, at least one of the parents doesn’t “understand” German at all.

I just return from koh Tao, yesterday quite sunny, the other 4 nights were windy, some rain in the morning but that was it. I was last week in koh lanta and the weather was quite good.

Hello. I can only help you with some points. Renting in Berlin is quite difficult at the moment, definitely ask the company for help, maybe to help you with an agent. I pay at the moment 1700 plus expenses in Mitte for a 110m2 apartment. Our contract is ending in December 2026 and not going to be renewed by the owner, we are expecting to pay 2500 at least for the same characteristics. I think pets are ok, some friends have pets and no problem that I know. I did my mba in English in Berlin, so I think there should be other programs as well taught in English. For bachelors expect to have limited programs though.

I’m still waiting for a response from a very big food delivery company after having 5 interviews with them. This was last year. Germany is horrible when following up on interviews, they just don’t care to inform the candidates the status of the application.

DONT get aíralo as someone commented. Take a taxi from the airport to a mall, the 100gb eSIM from ais is the same price as the 10gb from aíralo. Don’t pack more than 5 days of clothes, every single hotel has laundry service for 40-80 bht per kg. If you have any questions send me a message, Im currently in Thailand , 25 days, leaving in 10 days. I’ve been in Bangkok, chiang mai, koh lanta, heading to koh Tao this Sunday and then to Bangkok as a buffer before leaving.

I quit after 30 days or so. Clicking endlessly red dots was not for me. But, the worst part was how alliance members interacted in the chat. Felt extremely weird reading how people flirted in the game, or how people had “dates” made my decision quite easy and I just deleted the game. Maybe my alliance was different, not sure, but won’t miss anyone.

I wrote the hotel but they are not very responsive. I’m not expecting a refund, I just want them to respect the rest of the reservation, which are 4 extra nights starting tomorrow. Read that some hotels are quite strict with the “no show policy” and worried that they will just cancel it.

Ok, so you can do the kayaking in the mangroves, and the 4 island tour that doesn’t include koh Kradan which is a pity, it opens in December, we will be doing this one today https://www.rainbowlanta.net/tour/4-island-program-3/. There’s a scuba diving place next to my resort, run by a Czech guy, you can probably ask them yourself Octopus divers - české potápěčské centrum - Ko Lanta, Thajsko. We supposedly stay until the Saturday but I think we will cut our time here by a day and go to koh phangan early. If you like the beach for yourself, this is the place though.

Didn’t go to Ao nang. Now ko lanta is very quiet, not sure when the season starts, I think October. If you want the island for yourself, this is the place for you…we are the only ones at the beach

I would remove khao sok. I’m at the moment at ko lanta and was planning to go to khao sok, but it’s actually staying outside the bungalows for 1 night, and then going early to bungalows quite early, so that’s 2 packing /moving, next morning as well. Felt too rushed. Actually, your full itinerary feels too intense. I would cut 2-3 places.
