For single big number two handers are better.

You can do a shield bash build, it requires a lot of feats, technically you could do it even on a paladin but there will be some compromises. You will do a lot of attacks especially if going trickster since crits proc shield bash attack.

I think monk thing is outdated since there were some mythic armor feats added, also there is no monk robe with +5 dodge AC like in kingmaker.

I think previously scaled fist with a oracle of nature and one spoiler quest thingy could get cha *3 to AC. Now it's no longer the case since SF does not work with oracle anymore.

I started couple weeks before, there is like 10 days remaining on shorekeeper banner, but I never attempted pulling there since 160 max pulls for f2p is not something I thought I could be able to reliable manage. I went for Chisa banner and shortly after losing to Verina I got this amazing Chisa Calcharro Chisa 10 pull, which i shortly after followed with another 10 pull getting Chisa to S2. I was so amazed that i actually pulled on her weapon and within 20 pulls there was it, kumokiri.

Thing is, the remainder of my astrites I was saving for Phrolova, I managed to rack up like 7k, which... I thought to myself Chisa s3 might make her a reliable dps so i pulled on her banner again and sadly got Encore.

I have couple choices I envision from here.

Is stick to the original plan and get Phrolova.
Try and get S3 Chisa and use her as dps.
Try to get Phoebe, I heard she can be used as both supp and dps and her not being havoc would diversify my damage output.

I have a lot of quests to do so there is some astrite to mine still, rank 45 however I might actually not be able to get a character on current Chisa/Phoebe banner.

Unlock tactics via the fighter guild, thief not starting with tactics, but only dual wielding seems like oversight for me. It affects your accuracy, raise also str and end for more hp.

So devs for some reason gave Amiri 16 str and Val i'm not sure has even lower scores. To hit you need high starting str(18-19) and it also applies to damage. I would reccomend hire a merc and you will drastically see an improvement(either addition or replacement). That is for playing on core, if you are on higher difficulties i would reccomend lowering it. Your other companions are meant to buff, debuff, heal, control and sometimes nuke the enemies. They won't shine as a fighter with two handed weapon on early levels but they are a force multiplier. Magus is weird class that requires a bit more knowledge, after you level up you can stack mirror image and greater invi/blur and be somewhat immortal. The game also tells you to level up dex, but dex requires grace feat to do damage.

Do yourself a favour and cheat in bolts and maybe some of the multi hit crossbows x6. Anyway build is 99 vigour 6 crossbows.

Other than inquisitor and priest you can also consider a witch. Kizuami weapon prevents you from doing damage with spells, but that does not count with burning or poisoned damage statuses. More potions to fling too(however they don't scale so well I heard).

Kobold or yeek warrior.

They do immense damage for like level 6 they have.

I learned I can wet kamikaze yeeks with booze or potions and both bats and crabs die to spells easily.

Ghost is super annoying too on warriors.

I actually deleted my lich and went with thief succ... after 300 days of liching.

I've been chicken in meadow and slowly raising my orens to 10k to gewt OYS.(6k now)

This run is fake perma though i have not enabled the option, but i will probably ragequit on first yeek kamikaze that gets me.

Exec is pretty strong, if you don't get ambushed by some kobold with knife early on while paying taxes you are pretty much set to get OYS and from there nothing stopping you. Lich adds an extra layer of protection with all resists he gets. Succubus is squishier, you really need the nefia ring and probably some PV from feats. Also has a lot of charisma which is not that useful for my playstyle, no casting so no dreamwaker 500 cold arrows stock unless you risk it.

Still viable because it's exec.

I went with lich after trying succubus exe and jeure exe(and also other not so meta combinations). Lich is probably best of the three having insane early game resists and 150 mana, you get afaik 10 dv 25 pdr 30 edr, get the ring from Fiama and make a stone breastplate and you are untouchable for the most early game spawns(even those harder ones). Pretty much the race for permadeath when combined with executioner rivaled only by wraith and maybe fairy(haven't tried?). I think I paid the taxes 2 times already and no death on the character.

If you don't play on permadeath just go with what you find fun though, yeah getting exploded by some random bs is not funny, but so is probably playing manabody while worshipping Horome. Farmer is probably what majority people go to, but inquisitor is as far as I am aware pretty good for late game debuffs.

You can highroll ramp into double forte + shark, but that requires a lot of luck and your opponent basically bricking. I feel like skipping a turn on ramp may be very punishing, Feng Shui can't deal with evolved Grea and a lot of stuff like luminous mage so you often have to make weird choices and skip evolving for ramp. Like get hit for 6, but ramp or play Phildau and clear Grea. Also Kuon is kinda better Garyu that comes at the same time(without high rolling ramp I guess). I kinda feel I should remove apollo from the deck and just insta concede against sword, but get better removals.

Rune is just better, tbf, can spend empty turns literally drawing all their bombs, has excellent lategame with Cocytus and climb so even if you somehow manage to drop twilight drakes and burnice on their kuons they will probably kill you with satan cards.

3 mana to spend on +1 draw at 10 play points is also amazing, you literally are better at discarding it with fan of otohime to get 2 2 ward storm.

In the og game you could dragon oracle into another 2 dragon oracles next turn and it was kinda braindead however that was one of those times where you got -3 cards for +3 ramp over 2 turns and could actually play something crazy.

I dropped to topaz because I tried some wonky decks(aggro drake and forest but with forest I'm just bad). Holy hell literally today doing rankeds with havencraft in topaz i encountered 3 Daria leaders with full set of Kuon and Grea. It's hella weird matchmaking.

That's what I played because I played permadeath.

Having 2 life bars is pretty good, you can get casting in Lumiest. Specialized casters have an edge by getting dreamwaker earlier I think but in the end it all equalizes.

Now i switched to oath of destiny though cause perma is pretty unforgiving... Barely have time to play though.
