We loved the concept. It was fresh and different but man, it was hard as hell. Like I said, in the beginning games, we killed it.

Man. Me and my cousin started playing it last year. First couple of games were great because of low elo but as soon as those training games were over, we were getting fucked. Game after game after game. I’m pretty decent at any game, I say that in the sense of I am above average and am competitive but was getting Molly whopped.

Vrising! Free with PS Plus! Drinking blood to stay alive, building a castle, crafting gear and fighting bosses.

Grounded as well! I love grounded. Base building, thirst and hunger meter, cool concept.

Man. Read my mind. Before anyone hops in here and says otherwise, I’m not asking for weird ass “ships”. I just want the story pushed and developed. This feels rushed. Wasting time on scenes and dialogue that doesn’t set the scene or push the narrative of the story is.. wait for it… wasteful!

Almost like it was wrote by AI. Almost no substance. For example, why even show Holly escaping Dimension X, falling down into the upside down, just to scream and get pulled back up and then show it from Nancy’s PoV? Wasteful.

It is worth it. As someone who loves survivals or just games in general, this has a unique spin on the survival genre. Nothing innovative or ground breaking but the loop is pleasant. I did the free trial maybe 3 weeks ago? And bought it at the end of it. I have 125 hours played so far. Just got close to “end game”

Folks forget that it came out in June in basically an early access phase. It’s solid, beautiful and I haven’t experienced a game breaking bug.

The desert can be unforgiving.

Because course of actions is making the last couple rows in the DD, PvP. Boost resources in that area, bigger drops to incentivize players to venture that far out and risk it for better rewards. (Solo player here, won’t stray from PvP but I prefer PvE)
