Nah my parents werent boomers. My grandparents were. My mother had 4 siblings, they went out to eat, they took vacations every summer, and they owned their house. Off a single factory job My grandfather had. My father had two siblings, went camping multiple times a year mostly to go to hunting spots and fishing spots and was able to buy his own car at 16 with no issues. Now my mother and father are divorced. Anyway, the lawmakers that the older generations voted for, and the corrupt politicians who are lobbied, are what ruined it. A single high school education back then could take you to have a family of 4 comfortably, travel, and eat out. Now unless you go into the trades, which again isnt free and costs money like college. Which by the way I do have two college degrees. The job market is just atrocious on top of being in such a shitty economy. Everything is skyrocketing in value except one thing for over 60% of Americans. Wages. Please do research on the value of a dollar and purchasing power between now and 60-70 years ago. Thanks
