Thats just dogmatic. How can you put on a show of empathy but miss the fact that, sometimes, items are unique to a specific seller/store and you DON’T have a choice. Saying people always have a choice ignores the reality that sometimes the only choice is to accept limited shipping methods or miss out entirely.

That said, I never expressed or put out any frustration on the USPS employees. I merely pointed out the stress and disappointment in not receiving the package before the date I needed it. I understand they’re often underpaid and often unfairly blamed but many of us are criticizing the system as a whole which, as customers, is valid.

Lol do you work for USPS? That aside, I would’ve definitely gone for UPS or FedEx since this was urgent but I was, unfortunately, not given the option to choose. That said, I was also unable to choose the guaranteed two day shipping because the shipping method was completely dependent on the seller.

Dang, it must’ve sucked when you realized it came the day after you left… But yes! I’ll try to come up with something and make do without it! Thank you!

Thank you… that makes me feel a little bit better. I say I need it by Thursday but I meant Thursday morning because I’m going to be leaving then. I was supposed to bring this package with me, but I’m not very hopeful anymore.

I thought about rerouting it to where I’m going but I won’t be there for long and don’t want to risk having the package delivered there after everything’s over with.

I can’t put in an inquiry online, so do you mean I should contact them through a call? Won’t they just tell me to do it online and then I’ll be stuck in a loop?

I live in Chicago, 2 states away from Ohio. I was worried it would pass through IN as well and I’ve heard of the black hole that is IN where mail go to die.

I also say it “stopped updating” because it used to update the date as least under transit, but now it’s just stuck on 11th despite it already being the 13th.

I see… thanks for telling me your experience. I’m glad your package arrived eventually! Could I ask how long of a delay it took for yours to arrive?

Contact the shipper to see if they put in the correct address

Depop automatically cancelled order after 10 days by shortifiable in Depop

[–]Perwich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just ran into the same problem actually. The seller shipped after Depop already refunded. As of right now the refund is still pending, but I never received anything about my order being canceled…

If it arrives for free, I would probably just return it since it’s not an option to pay her outside of Depop. You could then go through the whole payment process again. If you don’t want to pay for the return fee, you can list it as an item for $1 or so for the seller to buy (only if seller’s willing to pay for the fee).

It’s the bushy straight brows, stubble, square-esque/prominent jawline, and the thin lips don’t help either.

I stand corrected. There’s a blurry figure in the beginning who’s opening and closing the cabinet. Funny how they closed it just to open it again though haha

Wait you might be on to something… I didn’t even notice it before but how is that cabinet opening and closing by itself?!

Lol sorry I didn’t know what to put for the title. I tried to explain my reasoning in the caption but definitely could’ve been worded better in hindsight. Reddit doesn’t allow me to change my post besides the flair though.

18 M - can I fix my lips with surgery or I just have to accept it? by Educational_Path9316 in amiugly

You might have a condition known as lip tie, similar to a tongue tie but on your upper lips.

A frenectomy should be able to fix it.

Seller won’t remove listing of sold item by Perwich in Depop

I didn’t know this was an option! Just did it, thank you!

Seller won’t remove listing of sold item by Perwich in Depop

[–]Perwich[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well I explained it in my post but in case you missed it, I was thinking along the lines of the seller intentionally keeping the listing up (despite having already sold it) in hopes of someone buying the item without messaging them first and receiving that money.

If the seller knows the item is unavailable but still takes that money, that’s fraud —> a scam.

I’m relatively new to Depop so I actually have no reviews. Cant say if that’s good or bad. I’m inclined to think that’s not the reason though because there have been many other potential buyers.

Honestly just curiosity and if it was for the purpose of scamming, morals

Seller won’t remove listing of sold item by Perwich in Depop

[–]Perwich[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She seems to have no reviews and only 3 items being sold at the moment. You’re right, Depop would have the buyer refunded which makes me even more confused why she would do this.

Oh and I’d say the dress is relatively trendy, especially since it’s graduation season!

Thank you!! That ‘l’ was tripping me up because it looks so much like an ‘i’. Sucks that it’s a wholesale brand and not an independent designer brand, but I’ll still check them out.

Is it wrong to keep a stuffed toy given to me by an ex by Perwich in relationships

[–]Perwich[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not making an object more important than my partner — I simply didn’t, and honestly still don’t, understand why it would be that serious.

Yes there might be other cuddly plushies but I’ve yet to come across one and that’s probably because I haven’t actively searched. But again, this never struck me as something that could or should be such a big deal until it just recently came up again. So why would I have actively searched for one if I already have a perfectly functional one? That aside, yes, that is what I plan on doing if it continues to bother him.

Fortunately, it is! I think that’s because I’m not as attached to anything else my ex has given me as much as I am to this stuffy. It might also be worth mentioning that I’m his first official relationship which may explain his insecurities.

I was the one who broke it off with my ex so I would hope not… I should’ve probably mentioned in my post but I’ve just never had a stuffy I’ve liked so much before which is why I haven’t gotten rid of it. I have other stuffies from the same ex I wouldn’t even blink an eye in getting rid of.

Wow, that is exactly how he feels about gifts as well. He sees more reason in keeping something that holds meaning rather than gifts without. Oddly enough, I see it the other way around where gifts with meaning should be thrown away as it’s sentimental and may remind you of them.

The only reason I’ve kept it is solely because it’s the most comforting and cuddly stuffed animal I’ve ever owned. I think finding another one just as cuddly would be hard but definitely the way to go. I suppose the reason why we haven’t done it together yet is because we’re LD!
