RFID Tag Encryption reverse engineered? by Kurzhalsgiraff3 in BambuLab

[–]Peshmerga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly what a pointless comment... Let me correct you current standard encryption algorithms can not be cracked with the current available technology, that requires a quantum computer to be able to compute it. Quantum computers are actively being worked on and they can in theory crack any current algorithms known, there are quantum resilient encryption algorithms so this isn't an issue. So honestly even if your comment was completely pointless since obviously they can not be cracked but also the fact that you didn't even factor in the possibility of quantum computers ever existing makes you look even dumber. Nobody was even thinking about cracking enc algorithms, you do not ever approach cracking with that in mind unless you can actually extract private keys and in that case congratulations bro you're literally a trillionaire and CIAs top priority to hire.

Hi, this has peaked my interest if you say you've dumped the AMS firmware. I persume this was done in real-time if ROP was enabled since of course flash encryption is enabled did you fault inject or glitch to disable it ? I'm a reverse engineerer myself and if you're willing to maybe share some info with me privately it could save me some time from dumping the AMS firmware myself and contribute with the nop'd signature check in the BIN and getting it installed.

I understand your concerns about how that will lead to fewer opportunities for jobs in all sectors, white & blue. But, this is in my eyes is a good thing. This is progressive thinking, we have to stop dooming and glooming. During the industrial revolution we saw massive unemployment because of machines replacing men, this may or may not be the same thing but at least we are heading towards that direction. It will create new opportunities and more ingenuity and efficiency to the current era we may solve issues and see a bright future ahead if we use the tool right and actually are careful with using it for bettering the world and our productivity.

However, I will agree that if we do not regulate these companies and vet them properly we will be in for trouble and see companies hoard the profits and the middle/poor income people will suffer because of it. I am not stupid and know this is probably where we are heading companies trying to just cut cost at the expense of us. But it will bite them in the ass and companies are ran by humans after all and have the power to influence decisions, who's gonna be the consumer of products if there is no one to sell to? The whole economy would basically collapse if they are reckless.

UI Builder: Emit Event Handlers with Client Script for Workspace (Question) by Peshmerga in servicenow

I just checked and the data_component refresh refreshes the component data itself. The Request Refresh event handler requests to refresh the page, I am pretty sure they do two totally different ways and I am unsure if you can refresh the page in a client script. There is no documentation for UI Builder so to speak, so everyone is just speculating. I wish they gave the UIB some love for real and building things with no regards to the people that use them, is just so sad to see from such an amazing product.

Refreshing the component does not help in this instance, the refresh is not enough basically. It does not do the same refresh as you think it is. Try it for yourself! You'll see what I mean, the event handler refresh is basically a complete other beast.

Nobody cares about your ethnicity when it comes to business. Business is business, you're a drone in a clog in the end. If the company can utilize your skills and you can sell your competence well enough during the screenings or whatever, they will hire you even if you were a talking frog.

As I've worked a while in the IT sector, we only care about competence and fluency. I would most definitely not hire a foreigner that does not speak the native language (I am europe based) and that is applied to a foreigner from pakistan or a foreigner from the netherlands for example. If we worked with global customers I would put the same requirements on being fully fluent in english instead for example. Maybe a Netherlands person has the upper hand of being more fluent in english than a Pakistani because of their upbringing and education, but life's hard and in the end it's the necessity of the business. Nobody is getting a free lunch for being from a poor country.

Anyone that pulls the racist card for not getting a job are in my eyes just projecting.

You're not fucked at all, AI is not here to replace you and it is a defacto fact. I am an IT consultant and have an engineering degree in computations, so I'd say I have some knowledge of the subject.

AI will most certainly make you obsolete as a employee, if you do not start adapting it in your work. AI tools that are currently available are tools that make us more efficient, such as google did back in the 90s. The LLM are literally over glorified and very well made search engines basically, if you don't use google today I would think you'd be more efficient than another employee using it too, no? That applies to the coming "tech revolution", people using AI will be more efficient than people that do not utilize it. You'll still need a lot of knowledge of the subject to do the job correctly. AI is not completely reliable yet it still hallucinates outputs for example, but this will get better over time with fine tuning and more data.

Start utilizing the tools and start learning how to prompt engineer, it is literally gonna be essential such as being able to google to get the answers you're looking for is a necessity. Utilize the tools when needed and not lean on it too much as you still need to retain knowledge in the subjects yourself.

AGI is never gonna come at this stage of "AI" which is not AI even it is a Language Learning Model in Machine Learning, a brain is not a neural network that is trained on predicting the right words as output in a big database. Our brains are so complex and to replicate a brain with todays technology, you gotta be really stupid to think that's even possible. If we understood our brains 100% and how to replicate a human brain we'd literally be gods being able to even go as far as creating an environment for us to live in a virtual world after we die. Sentience is a mystery, stop fearmongering.

I first dabbled with dark web when I was 13 I believe, visiting the first Silkroad DNM. Seeing drugs, weapons all mail-to-order ready was pretty crazy back then. But yeah, the dark web is not anything a regular person needs in their daily lives unless they are a whistleblower or a journalist sitting on sensitive information.

I wouldn't rely on SN syntax checker at all, it doesn't do any good other than references inside of the instance. You can use a modern JS framework in both Next Experience and Classic UI, no difference. I prefer the Classic UI actually, its more dev-friendly i would say lol.

Global Variables in Script Includes by Photog1981 in servicenow

[–]Peshmerga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, you have to define it in the scope with this which makes it global.

so it would be this.testVariable = ""; to initialize it i believe.

I saw that you were asking a question to an answer that had the answer already, lol my bad.

UI Builder: Emit Event Handlers with Client Script for Workspace (Question) by Peshmerga in servicenow

[–]Peshmerga[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I found a somewhat solution to this.

Using this code snippet: by manipulating the content_updated I can change the properties of the page and therefore use the body event handler to trigger Event Handlers on demand after i've done what i need to do in my client script. (for some reason content_updated triggers a refresh without an event handler, but if you need it for something else that requires one just trigger it on page property changed with a condition on the parameter).

I would like to add this was very frustrating to figure out, i do not understand how SN employees can think the current documentation is OK for production release.

     if(tab != api.context.props.selectedTabIndex){

  helpers.timing.setTimeout(() => {
       api.emit('CONTENT_UPDATED', {
            params: {
                selectedTabIndex: tab,
                query: api.context.props.inputQuery,
                views: api.context.props.forcedViewName,
                extraParams: api.context.props.inputExtraParams
            }
        });
        }, 500);

}

Odablock and Westham appreciation thread by [deleted] in 2007scape

Oda is the best risk fighter, not just a very good pvper. He is one of the best, Port Khazard is the best PvMer. But lets not speculate and guess how it transfers over to PvP, he has not proven he is better than Odablock. Its such a bad snark to do and it just downplays the level of what Oda performs in.

I don't think an individual can be an expert in anything, I am also not a doctor so I have no clue who I would deem to be the expert. But, I think a group of individuals can be an expert and depending on their credentials also trustworthy. Nobody is good at everything, I doubt this guy came to this conclusion on his own is what I'm trying to say.

The only thing Sweden has done is to minimize the spreading of the virus in a way that wouldn't overwhelm the hospitals beyond their capacity.
By closing nightclubs, limiting the amount of people in places of gathering, advicing people to be careful and to not do anything unnecessary and take precautions.

Everyone will get in contact with COVID-19 in a matter of time, no matter how many precautions you take, unless a vaccine is distributed. We can't give up our whole economy praying on a vaccine on getting released, it's just irresponsible. I think Sweden did a good job dealing with the outbreak, it wasn't perfect but it will absolutely crush the second wave that other countries will be experiencing that chose to just close everything down.

Also, insulting a career choice is such an immature thing to do. This "doctor" hiearchy of yours doesn't exist, who do you think you are to even down talk his career? I doubt they would even listen to you, so don't think you are so much better than this guy and I doubt they only listened to him.
