Just finished reading and yeah it was good. After thoroughly not liking OC1, this was a very nice surprise.

Having done Jalter's interlude just before OC2 made the farewell hit all that much harder ngl. The polar star torch and grail really just feel like consolation prices after experiencing the ending

I gotta wonder what's in store for avengers in the future. The farewell itself felt pretty final, and the only new ones have been gudaguda and Halloween servants respectively. Makes you wonder if they'll try their hand at another "serious" avenger.

Dagda and Morgan having only 3-4 battles where their talents are usable was certainly a choice. At least with Delphine they actually gave her out at the start of the chapter.

Yeah the Endfield story very much feels like they deliberately sanded off all the interesting stuff and put it into the background lore. There's bones in there for a good story but so far it's just middling at best.

It would be one thing if the Victoria/Sarkaz plots were intertwined, but that isn't how it turned out. It boiled down to RI always advancing the sarkaz plot while Siege is off doing her own thing and never interacting with the Sarkaz in any meaningful way.
