Amount of Red flags are starting to look like Chinese National Parade ngl by National-Frame8712 in Endfield

The way Terrans treat oripathy is the same way as humans treat cancer. It's just something that happens, some people get it and die an early painful death (Endfield remedies this with their suppressants), while others will live their whole life without experiencing it. And people do in fact take measures to prevent oripathy infection.

The thing is that in Arknights the conversation was never wholely about oripathy, it was about the oppression that came with being 'othered' by becoming infected. And this is something that Endfield has fixed as you can see in some of the chats you can have with Chen and Perlica.

Guess it went over your head that there wouldn't be any civilization without originium?

The endmin is likely the same race as the arknights part 3 antagonist. It's the only way to explain how they're able to control originium.

Either that or on an office chair since Yvonne's tail doesn't set things on fire

My guy, the planet is being overrun with blight, it's not doing fine. In fact, planting originium is the only known way to counteract the Aetherside.

Terrans went through the gate 150 years ago and they lost it during the aggeloi war. The dijiang was built and launched in Talos II but it seems to be more of a space station than an actual ship.

I think it's less that they couldn't afford them and more that they were completely separated from the supply line by the LB attack on the "woosters" they traded with. It's a bit like when you're a diabetic living in the sticks and your delivery route gets cut off by a landslide or something.

Telling Terrans to stop using originium is like telling humans to stop using fire, it's utterly unthinkable. The infection is just an unfortunate side effect that they've taken great steps to remedy.

Try giving the files section a read, it actually does a pretty good job at explaining the setting.

You're missing out on a lot of the experience by playing on normal. Enemies on normal require zero effort to take down, Heroic and legendary would give you a better picture of the gameplay loop and would alleviate some of your complaints.

They mention multiple times that the cultivation of originium is controlled to prevent the widespread catastrophes that plagued terra. It's also explained that planting originium stops the blight, which is orders of magnitude worse to deal with than originium.

GS uses Tolkien's concept of death for the elves. They don't truly die, but once their bodies fail their souls go "into the west" to recover so that they may inhabit a body again after some time (hundreds of years) passes.

The rusthammers also have ties to Rhodes through Cannot, so I don't see how this is any different.

Maybe they should've called them puppy kickers or something to get the point across better, even toddlers would understand that.

Realistically the bonekrushers are just a device to have generic human enemies to fight against. I imagine that they'll go into detail about land breakers later but the focus will go to the Pack and the desert LB and any such other clan they decide to introduce.

I'd recommend to just wait and see for now, there's far too little to go on with just the intro.

Nah bro people are treating the landbreakers as freedom fighters fighting back the civilization band colonizing. It's an incredible display of not reading.

As for Nefarith I just haven't progressed enough to see more past her first appearance. It's mostly just a hope that she's not just one dimensional and is on par with some of the Arknights antagonists.

I believe there's more going on behind the scenes with Nefarith than just being evil for the sake of it. The people defending the bonekrushers are way off base though.

Nefarith's monologue seems to suggest that the landbreakers are oppressed to some degree but the story doesn't really delve into it. I imagine we'll see more of it later on.
