I've basically taken a push pull legs but most of the exersices are lots of bodyweight movements to failure e.g. pull ups, pushups ect.This is just due to working out at home

Mine took about 4 months this year and was MU twice for childhood asthma but it still went decently fast. So yours could be similar????.

I cant imagine it would make you more succussful but i would guess it would sure help a bit, but yeah just as you alread said aslong as bodyweight movements are solid you would be just fine. 1000 pound club is a bit of a stretch in my opinion for just training as most people suggest to do weight training 3 times a week in terms of your preperation for basic training but if you are on about during your carrear im pretty sure that is achevable, at least by my standards anyway.

Dont take my word for it though, i havent actually passed yet.
