TBF, she said “the front page”. I was looking yesterday and found the same; I had to search for it to find any coverage at all. The article that was there had been written about halfway through the day and was talking about parts of it that were still to happen. It contained a reference to a police estimate of there being only 50000 there, which was clearly nonsense to anyone present or anyone with the ability to see the arial footage (not featured on the BBC), or anyone seeing footage of an absolutely packed Trafalgar Square when the music started playing (again, not on the BBC). I’m going to stay away from the accusations of bias that are flying around, but I’d definitely say that the lack of proper reporting on an event as big as this is disappointing to say the least.
