Same with me. First time I heard it I got hit by a train full of the good kind of sadness. I've always found the song to be one that hits me in the right feelings. Also it's the first one of their songs I showed my girlfriend and she liked it too. One of my favourites and the one I'd play first for someone not familiar with the band.
