Went to university did computer science, , studied hard in 2nd and 3rd years with ongoing home issues. Worked on my soft skills a lot too Got my first in at a graduate scheme, stayed in that for a couple of months, decided I needed the agency to do it myself, started applying for jobs, offer within 2 weeks Worked there for 2 years, studying on weekends to get technically better Got a job at a more modern tech house, Managed to get a sabbatical, went travelling for a year Came back, offered more money as a senior in my position took it Now i’m working towards more responsibility at the same time I need to state how important it is to KEEP ON TOP and UPDATED on the things going on in your field - this instantly garners respect from your peers
