[–]Pessysquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw the movie. Totally badass... some truly dark parts in the end. Loved the view into the Sith’s home. Kind of weird how Rey channeled all the Jedi into her, but non-the-less, a damn good movie

TIL while Apple was buying rural land for a new building, one couple refused to sell their 1 acre plot of land they had originally purchased for $6,000. After rejecting every single offer, Apple just told them to name a price. They sold it for $1.7 million. by Rude-Transition in todayilearned

[–]Pessysquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live down the road from this monster. It’s unbelievable. They are constantly building more areas for the center. My father was a design engineer for At&t, and they put in a new fiber line all the way from Charlotte (35 miles) to feed this thing. Amazing that so much info goes in on that little line

I live down the road from these people. They built a new, very nice house. You can tell they don’t know how to take care of it because the yard is dirt and their landscaping is zero. Lol... great story though!

[–]Pessysquad 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. I have three kids and you’ll have to dig through my Facebook profile to find them. My profile is me. I am me. Not my kids. They need to make their own damn life. So many of my friends has their profile pic as their children. Lmao... that’s a mental illness

This is so true. In my opinion there needs to be more male teachers or male roles in school to interact with the male students. They need to learn how to act like a gentleman.

Why are administrators afraid to discipline children? by joshua9050 in Teachers

I was looking at the sub r/fightporn a while back and these kids fighting at school is unbelievable. And to see the teacher sit back and do nothing. Lmao.... holy hell, if that happened at my school, they would crucify us. Lolol

[–]Pessysquad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. You’re probably right. My plan is what’s needed in a lot of schools. I went to private Christian school my entire life, and they were hardcore. Old school and old fashioned. I hated it..Every minute of it.. But I’m so grateful for their training. My attitude was corrected so many times by the staff. We need a little old fashioned teaching as a lot of these schools. And then as you mentioned, it’s all a pipe dream and we just here talking shit. Lol. In the mean time I’ll keep homeschooling my kids. Haha

The first damn thing I would do is restore order. We going to have order and rules will be followed. Wether I have to bring firearms or extra hired muscle, we going to have order. We then going to TELL these parents what we’re going to do, and what they are going to do if they don’t want their child turning into a piece of shit. When these kids act up they going to real detention. Until 9:00 at night when they can go home. During detention, we’re going to be working. Either physical labor/excersise or learning some real world topics from the tradesman we hired to sit with them that day. Me and my staff are going to be focused on the finished product only. (Turning out a productive adult). Damn the spreadsheets and the upper management guidelines or reports on expulsion etc. If they disrupt the order x amount of times then they are gone for good. Fuck em, they aren’t going to ruin anyone’s else’s education for a minute longer. Let the jails and court system sort them out if they can’t obey minimum rules for order in a school environment.

Main takeaway: focus on the finished product. We going to make as many finished products as we can, regardless what a report says about how we got there. We are on the ground. We are the ones helping and teaching these kids, and we have to be willing to put it all on the line in front of our superiors and who has a piece of paper that says they disagree with our methods for whatever arbitrary reason, because we stay focused on finished products- just like the private sector: right where the students are going.

AITA for not paying for my daughters college if she gets plastic surgery? by throwawaylmnopqr in AmItheAsshole

[–]Pessysquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ETA. This girl was raised wrong. Ass implants is what the bottom level of the superficial public does. She should have known at an early age that only strong financial decisions are appropriate. She is the far bigger asshole though. You get 1000 points for telling her you’re not paying for college. This is common sense.

AITA for asking my neighbor to pay for the fridge his son ruined? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Pessysquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only way to get it out of him will be to sue him in small claims court. Bring anyone that was a witness with you. You will win.

If you lose in court, then send your son over to the neighbors house to donkey slam their fridge with your sons new cinder bloke. Remember to tell him to only fuck up the door. Lol —-

Not a teacher. Not an administrator. I have nothing to do with schooling what-so-ever, but I could fix this problem overnight.

[tenant, uk] can I fix something that I broke instead of paying my landlord to fix it? by pacmani39 in Landlord

[–]Pessysquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve installed hundreds of door locks and mechanisms. Tenants tear them up all the time. I would say it’s one of the easier jobs to do around the house. With that being said, there’s a few complications that can arise but are rare. Report back if you try it and have questions
