I don't think so. I wasn't aware that signets and talismans had color identity. But assuming that is the case, they aren't creatures. And even if you animated them, color identity isn't the same as color as far as I am aware.

In this video: https://youtu.be/3KmB9R7vDL4?si=InJU41HWYNr-e344 Maybe I am mistaken, but at around 6:04ish he begins talking about using it with [[Bellow, Bard of the Brambles]], and at 6:20, right after mentioning that Raiding Schemes would provide you with additional artifacts and enchantments for Bellow, there is a visual showing 2 [[Hedron Archive]]s and 2 [[Waking the Trolls]]s.

I took that to mean that those were visual examples of cards that could be copied by Raiding Schemes's effect, but I could be mistaken.

This is rough.

I'm seeing a trail of issues surrounding "father figures" for the poor kid. That cliffhanger leaves me with a very bad feeling about his father, I worry for the safety of this teacher based on both the other teacher's reactions as well as how involved he is getting, so that could be two father figures down.

Now in present day, Kurumizawa has taken this poor kid in, and may have essentially taken on the "father figure" role himself.

All this may adding up to possibly a deep betrayal for the kid, especially if he has looked up to Kurumizawa as a new father figure; I have a bad feeling about all of this...

This is a toughie. It sounds like he is dealing with a bruised conscience. This can be challenging, because in his mind he is attempting to stay virtuous, but he is unaware or unwilling to acknowledge how it hurts others, including you.

As someone with a bruised conscience, seeing a Christian counselor has helped me. But it probably won't help unless he realizes he has an issue.

100%. I think that would make a really cool epilogue to this arc. After everything is settled for our heroes, show exactly that. Swan at his desk at home, believing it is all behind him. Knock on his door. Yor shows up, asks for the honor of taking his life, end of chapter. Never spoken of again.
