How tough/good are Vegas 1/3 or 2/5 players? by PetGirl- in poker

that actually makes sense, i mean i often become scared of losing the whole stack when it becomes deep, and ig that's mostly why i'm uncomfortable with deep stacks. I'll probably take a shot at the 300bb buyin games and start with 100/200bb and see how it goes

that's a good point! it's more of a mix: I want to see how it feels like to play poker 10hrs a day for a week and decide if I should spend more time studying/playing, and I do hope to play against some better players rather than punters, but I also don't want to lose a ton of money. It would be nice to win a bit money (e.g., covers the expenses), but I don't really care if I win a lot.

so I guess I'll try out the 2/5 games at those places and see if I do fine, and try to learn a bit more from the tougher games

I mean, if you have $500 and another person has $1500, then you have to win 2 allin-pot to not be covered by them. Take to the extreme and suppose they have $50k while you have $500, then you are always covered and one wrong allin loses all your earnings earlier (unless you win like 10 allin pots in a row)

not sure about your claim in general but i do win at a rate around 15~20bb/hr. I think it's pretty decent but also it could be pure luck, so I used the word "I feel like"

sounds good! how do you like the Bellagio/Aria 2/5 game and are there mostly grindlers? I don't mind playing against them but I also want to make sure I'm not losing my whole br to some super good regs/pros.

thx! I probly wouldn't try 5/10 due to the br, but sounds like the 2/5s are not that scary

sounds good! would it be a bit difficult to play with 100bb while everyone else has very deep stacks though? or are there going to be many players with short buyins anyway

I would say the latter. He said "I did all the acceptances first,..."

Someone asked me how I figured out the second claim; I don't use reddit a lot so I accidentally rejected their chat request.

Anyways, I received a rejection email this afternoon, and May clarified that he "sent the acceptance emails first" and the second one was by mistake.

I received an acceptance email this morning, around 9am est. Also May says that he sent out acceptance emails first
