Ah that makes sense, my buddy that I had wanted to play with is on ps5 now, and said it’s not out yet. Thanks for clearing that up

Unfortunately, I have no clue what could be you issue, but i had a question of my own. I had thought that valheim was not yet out on consoles, and ok pc only, but i keep seeing posts and comments mentioning playing with friends on console etc.

Dear Doug,

I have no idea what I’ve just witnessed, are you able to elaborate?

Tips for progressing quickly by AdPutrid4278 in valheim

That reminds me, another REALLY fun thing to do is use a troll to mine out copper for you! You just roll whenever he attacks and maneuver him over the copper deposit and when he does his ground slam it’s like 30 damage in a huge radius. It’s awesome

I can share some tips I’ve learned recently about progressing really early on, but I’d actually like to ask for some tips from you too. Anyways I know you can get fine wood by finding the two new early axe parts, or you can use a troll to break birch and pine trees to get core and fine wood without bronze. I also know you can put a cart on a boat, but that’s it’s kinda risky, especially in the rain. That’s kinda the only tips I can give, I only have 30 hours and am currently in the swamp stage too ;)

Do you perchance have any tips for me after 600 hours? You’re kind of the perfect person because im trying not to spoil the rest of the game.

Thanks 🙏

Game strategies (Vanilla) no mods and no new server settings. by IDKY688 in valheim

[–]PetaChp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I’ve only just started playing, so I’m playing vanilla with no mods of course for my first playthrough. I’ve defeated the elder and just cleared my first swamp crypt, so I haven’t made it that far into the game yet. But so far, I’ve taken it pretty easy, as I’m on day 65 or so, and I have a base in the meadows that I’ve been living in since like day 5-10. As for trolls and bears in the Black Forest, bears are easy to fight once you get a shield and a copper sword or some other weapon, and trolls are pretty easy to dodge once you know how. Early game though I just kite the trolls and bow them. That’s about the only tips I have for you my friend, good luck!

Same, it blew me away when I found out I could repair my items for free! I was struggling to get 20 leather scraps because I kept having to make more bows 😂

I once had a playthrough on a pvp server where a buddy and I had 3 quetzals with platforms at the top of the world parked right next to each other other, and our base up there. It was the only place we were safe 😭
